Alternative Energy: Wind Power
Technology is advancing everyday in terms of new alternative energy. Wind power seems to be the solution to many coastal areas that don't get enough sunlight to make photovoltaics efficient enough, such as New England. Eventually wind turbines will be small and quiet enough to mount on residential applications that won't take away from the appearance of the home. Wind turbines are slowly starting to be integrated into large scale commercial applications such as the turbines used on the Bahrain World Trade Center.

Small spaces always have more character than larger spaces. Everyone thinks they need a huge house that costs a lot but in fact they never use half the space they have. If people changed their thinking of not building huge mansions and built a quality house with great materials and details instead, the housing landscape in America would be much better.
